The Craft and Folk Art Museum
The museum serves Los Angeles through its mission to champion cultural understanding by encouraging curiosity about our diverse world through the universal lens of art. CAFAM is the only museum in Los Angeles dedicated solely to the support of contemporary craft and folk artists. This grant will partially underwrite the exhibition L.A. Skin and Ink: Tattooing in Los Angeles from 1970 to the Present which will examine the city's unique and vibrant tattoo scene. This show will be up September 29, 2012 to January 6, 2013.
