Self Help Graphics & Art

Self Help Graphics & Art (SHG) is the leading non-profit visual arts center serving the predominantly Latino community of Los Angeles. SHG’s mission is to develop and nurture Latino artists in printmaking.

Our funding will support an exhibition of new work and its related panel discussions for the project Art on the Frontline of East L.A., which will provide 10 artists the opportunity to create new work through a nationally recognized print-making studio. The exhibition is expected to run July to October 2012.
