It was with laden hearts, but also great gratitude, for the members of our community that were affected by the devastating fires in Altadena, Pasadena and Los Angeles that PAA members gathered for our annual Grants Presentation. We braved much-needed rain showers to meet at the Pasadena Conservancy of Music. Before the meeting, we sipped coffee and nibbled donuts while gathering around tables in the hall loaded with spectacular Valentines made by our creative colleagues.

Grants Chair Lizzie Salvati presented a terrific slide show to inform members and illustrate what we have to look forward to in exhibitions and contemporary happenings in the coming months. Members enjoyed learning about the 27 installations that will be receiving $300,000 in grants this year. This is what we work all year for!

Following the meeting, members gathered at Green Street Restaurant for a delicious lunch and a welcome chance to catch up.
