Located in Pomona, AMOCA is one of the few museums in the country dedicated solely to ceramic art and the only one of its kind on the West Coast. The museum champions the art, history, creation, and technology of ceramics through exhibitions, collections, outreach, and studio programming.

The PAA is funding the exhibition Fractured Foundations which marks the nation’s 250th anniversary with ceramic art reflecting on overlooked events that demonstrate resilience amid injustice caused by federal, state, or local policies. This exhibition reexamines key U.S. historical moments to challenge dominant narratives and reveal overlooked perspectives, encouraging critical dialogue on how history is retold. The show will run June 27, 2026 through November 29, 2026.
