The Benton Art Museum at Pomona College serves as museum and gallery, overseeing the college’s permanent art collections and mounting a variety of contemporary exhibitions during the academic year. The museum originates innovative art experiences that foster creative and critical thinking.

The PAA grant will support a monumental wall drawing, drawn directly on the wall, which it will commission from Manuel López.  Approximately forty feet of the Art Hall space will be dedicated to the wall-drawing, and the design will be developed through the collaboration between López and Solomon Salim Moore, lead curator for this exhibition.
