The Claremont Lewis Museum of Art was created to inspire, stimulate and enhance the community through education programs, their collection and exhibitions. The Museum seeks to share the transforming experience of art with the diverse audiences of Claremont and its wider community.

Funding will support She Opens the Door : Women Artists and Writers Shape Language and Space. The show will include 12-15 contemporary artists exploring female autonomy at the intersection of language and art. Poet-in-Residence Chloe Martinez will curate the exhibition.
