Located in Pasadena, Fulcrum Arts empowers artists to invent, inspire and provoke, and also provides resources and opportunities for artists, collectives and independent arts organizations to advance their visions and contribute to a vibrant, challenging and inclusive community.

The PAA grant will support Julie Tolentino: Candela/Chandelier, an immersive sculptural installation, where the artist explores the radical eros of collectivity and embodied memory through a monumental new kinetic work and video installation. The room-sized piece engages with time-based movement to construct a monolithic, crystal amalgamate sculpture, forming over donated human hair of loved ones, which grows each day through routine submersion into a mineral solution tank. The exhibition will be on view October 2026 through January 2027.
