Treasure Sale (TS15)

Co-Chairs Susan Crawford and Alfrida King secured the perfect site for 2015’s version of the Treasure Sale:  345 S. Education in LA, April – Pomona and La Verne

Fifteen PAA members explored two campus art galleries for Education in LA outing on April 7th. Our first stop was the Kellogg University Art Gallery for a private tour with curator Michele Cairella Fillmore, to view the exhibition, “Abstract Mystique.”  This exhibit features work from seven of Southern California’s top female artists working in Abstraction.  Their work involves mixed media, sculpture …

Education in LA trip to Art LA Contemporary

Fun was had by all on the outing Friday, January 30th, 2015 to the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica to view the Art LA Contemporary art show.  The day was made particularly special by a guided tour led by Lowell Pettit, a New York-based art consultant and independent curator.
